Come along to an afternoon where we will educate ourselves through the stories of (ALTHEA Gibson, rated PG), the first African American to play and win at Wimbledon and the U.S Nationals and the story of James Baldwin (I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO, rated 12), a man who through trial and tribulation explored race through his essays, plays, books and commentary in a way unlike any others who have gone before him.
It’s due to be a great afternoon set to inspire and empower whilst you surround yourself with a group of like-minded individuals.
